Index Status Audit
Check every page for HTTP status, noindex, canonical mismatches, and server errors. Uses non-redirect-following requests to detect 301/302 chains.
What the audit checks
Noindex Detection
Finds pages with meta robots noindex — these are completely invisible to Google and get zero organic traffic.
404 Not Found
Pages in your sitemap returning 404. Lost pages mean lost rankings, broken user journeys, and wasted crawl budget.
Server Errors (5xx)
Server errors make Googlebot stop crawling. Critical to fix immediately.
Canonical Mismatch
Pages where the canonical tag points to a different URL — all link equity is silently redirected elsewhere.
Redirects in Sitemap
Sitemap should only contain final 200 URLs. Redirects waste crawl budget and add latency.
Missing Canonical Tag
Pages without any canonical tag risk duplicate content issues — Google picks the URL on its own.
Indexability Score
Each page scored: indexable (200 + no noindex + correct canonical) or blocked. Summary with SEO impact.
